Sooooooo . . . I can hardly believe it myself, but we put up a Christmas tree this year. First time we've fooled with one in over 15 years. Since there is plenty of space in the new house, we decided to buy one of those three piece easy-to-assemble kinds with all the lighting already done, and were happy to find that it was, in fact, "easy to assemble".

I wonder if this is Cozy's first experience with a Christmas tree - she sure does like it. She made herself very comfy even before I had a chance to add the ornaments. We've had it up for a few days now, and I'm happy to say that she hasn't shown any interest in climbing it. This just might become a yearly tradition.
